“Redcliffe staff have done invaluable work with our daughter and we cannot thank you enough for the way they have all seen her as an individual and brought out so much in her. You have some exceptional staff and I feel we feel our children have been so lucky for the opportunities they have been given at Redcliffe and how it has equipped them for the next stage of their adventures.”
Year Three (Coleridge); Year Four (Keats); Year 5 (Shakespeare); Year 6 (Wordsworth)
At 47 Redcliffe Gardens, our older pupils enjoy a broad, balanced and challenging education that extends far beyond the curriculum.
A Redcliffe education ensures that all pupils here benefit from a broad, balanced and challenging education which extends well beyond the daily curriculum in each classroom.
Our older pupils are thoroughly prepared for 11+ examinations and succeed in gaining entry to their next schools. We pride ourselves on having good relationships with many of the leading day and boarding schools around London which helps us to give excellent advice to parents choosing their child’s next school.
As pupils progress through the school they are given increasing opportunities, both inside and outside the classroom to develop their independence, thinking and leadership skills. Our school parliament is an important place for children to debate a range of school and community issues and to develop their understanding of democracy. Each year the children take part in an election to choose a school charity for the following year and everyone in the Redcliffe community is invited to look at ways to raise money for this charity.
Educational visits, including residential trips for our older pupils, encourage cross-curricula learning both inside and outside the classroom and ample opportunities to develop the skills of leadership, team-building and independent learning.
